Soma Pilates Studio

Welcome to Soma Pilates Studio, founded in 2025 and based on The Green in Kings Norton, Birmingham.

We offer a full range of Mat and Reformer Pilates classes — from beginner to advanced — designed to help you move with confidence, control and purpose.

At Soma, we focus on functional movement, body awareness and inclusivity. Our goal is to help every client understand their body, build strength from the inside out, and move through life with greater ease.

We’ve created a calm, welcoming space where everyone — regardless of experience or ability — can connect, move and feel part of a supportive community.

Mat Pilates

The original form of Pilates — a low-impact, full-body workout that builds strength, control, and mobility using just your bodyweight (and sometimes small props).

A low-impact, full-body workout performed on the Reformer — a unique machine with adjustable springs and a moving carriage.

Private sessions

 1:1 or 2:1 Pilates sessions designed around your individual goals and needs. Perfect if you’re new to Pilates, working towards something specific, or managing an injury alongside rehabilitation.
